Chery Group’s Car Sales Increased By 58.1% in May

Reporters recently learned from Chery Holding Group that the group sold 65,842 cars in May, up 58.1% year on year. From January to May, the Group sold a total of 348,302 vehicles, up 84.2% year on year.

From January to April, the group’s operating income increased by 70.9% year on year, and profits and taxes increased by more than 5 times year on year, which continuously accumulated new potential energy for explosive growth. With the continuous improvement of Chery’s global competitiveness and the acceleration of its integration into the pattern of “domestic and international double cycles”, its sales in overseas markets have been rising steadily. In May, 19,444 vehicles were exported overseas; A total of 94,916 vehicles were exported in the first five months, up 154.5 percent year on year. In the new energy market, the Group sold 6,792 units of new energy products in May, up 131.7% year on year. The accumulative sales volume from January to May was 32,337 units, up 270.6% year on year.
